Privacy notice

This site has one form, and like every website it runs on a server that notices visitors. Here is what happens to what you type and to what the server sees.

Who to contact
KS Stack. Reach us through the form on this site or at hello@ksstack.com.
When you visit
Hostinger’s web server automatically logs each request, including your IP address, browser and the time, as every web server does. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hostinger deletes them on its own schedule, and we don’t copy them anywhere.
Visitor statistics
We count page views and sent forms with a small script on this site. It sends only the address of the page you are on, never your IP address, and this site’s own server keeps only daily totals per page. No cookies, no profiles, nothing shared. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
What the form collects
Your name, email address, the topics you pick, your message and your website if you add it, plus the IP address the server sees when you send it. Filling in the form is voluntary, but without your name, email and message we can’t answer you.
Why, and on what basis
To answer you and, if you ask for one, to prepare an offer. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to messages (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Ask us and we’ll explain how we weighed that interest against yours.
Who else sees it
Hostinger, our web and email host, runs the form on this site’s server and keeps the email in our mailbox, as our processor under its data processing addendum. The site runs in Hostinger’s EU data centre, and for any transfer outside the EEA the addendum relies on the EU standard contractual clauses. If you ask about social media, we pass your message to the person on our team who runs that service. Nobody else receives your message.
How long we keep it
Messages that don’t turn into work are deleted within 12 months. If a message turns into work, we keep it while the work lasts and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. The form itself stores nothing and passes your message straight to the mailbox.
Your right to object
You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest, which covers the server logs, the statistics and our replies. Write to hello@ksstack.com and we’ll stop, unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
Your other rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict how it is used, and to get a copy in a portable format. Write through the form or to the address above. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work, or where you think the problem happened.
No automated decisions
We don’t make automated decisions about you or build profiles.
Cookies and tracking
None. This site sets no cookies, keeps nothing on your device and loads nothing from other servers, fonts included.
